What is the likelihood of recovering more than 100 stolen sheep?
That's what one farmer in the UK is wondering after 135 sheep were stolen from his farm in the Hursley area of Hampshire, England.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight police are appealing for information following the theft of the livestock.
Police have stated that between 5:00p.m last Saturday, June 27 and 6:00a.m on Sunday, June 28, 135 sheep were stolen from the farm.
The livestock had a total estimated value of £18,000.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
Anyone who may have heard or seen any suspicious activity overnight in the area between Saturday and Sunday is urged to contact police.
Those with information can call 101 quoting reference 44260305948 or report online to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary website.
This is not the only incident of reported livestock theft in the UK in recent weeks.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is investigating the disappearance of 14 cattle, which went missing in Ardglass, Co. Down last week.
Police have said that cattle reportedly went missing overnight between the hours of 12:30a.m and 10:45a.m on Sunday, June 28.
Officers said that the cattle were suspected to have been taken from the Ballyedock Road in Ardglass.
