Treble Fendt theft from Petersfield farm
Police in Sussex are appealing for witnesses following the theft of three tractors near Petersfield.
The three Fendt 720 Vario tractors were stolen from a shed on a farm in Slade Lane, Petersfield overnight between Saturday, January 26 and Sunday, January 27.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: “If you witnessed any suspicious behaviour in this area or saw a tractor on the A27 heading toward Hampshire on the morning of Sunday, January 27 we would like to hear from you.
“[You can] report information either online or by calling ‘101’ quoting reference ‘411 of 27/01’.”
It just comes a few days after police thanked the public for their help in the recovering six stolen vintage and classic tractors and machines worth around £100,000.
Sometime between 4:00pm on Friday, January 18, and 12:00pm on Sunday, January 20, thieves forced their way into an outbuilding and took the tractors. It’s believed a low loader was used to transport them.
A spokesman for Stafford Police said the machines were found as a direct result of information provided by the public following an appeal.
