Good quality grass is key to success in milk and beef production.

More plentiful, better grass could be produced – increasing production and lowering feeding costs – by managing grassland better. And young Austrian company APV believe they have just what Irish grassland farmers need.

Farmhand, APV’s Irish distributors, are reporting very keen interest in the APV range of tined grass harrows and seeders.  The 3m GS Harrow (pictured) is aimed at the farmer who wants to keep his swards in top condition by regular scarifying & re-seeding.  With drill, leveling board, road lights and controls the complete package lists at €9,475.  Grass drills on their own for mounting onto your own harrow start at €3,300 with APV electric spreaders starting at €750.   Further details from Farmhand
