This morning (May 16), the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) responded to a road traffic collision involving an overturned lorry, and a number of cattle on the M1 motorway in Northern Ireland between junction 13 and junction 14.
According to the NIFRS, firefighters from Dungannon, Portadown, and Armagh are at the scene alongside specialist animal rescue teams from Omagh, and Newcastle, as well as specialist rescue teams from Central.
In a post on social media, the NIFRS said that the incident is ongoing.
In a post on social media, the Police Service Northern Ireland (PSNI) has said that a closure remains in place on the M1 following the incident at junction 13.
Motorists travelling city-bound are being advised by the PSNI to leave the M1 at junction 15, and travel through Armagh before joining the M12 at Portadown. The opposite applies to those travelling in the opposite direction.

In a separate incident earlier this week, a man in his 70s died in a farm-related incident in the Dundrum Road area of Tassagh, Co. Armagh on Tuesday evening, May 13.
The PSNI attended the scene alongside colleagues from other emergency services.
According to the PSNI, the death is not being treated as suspicious at this time and the Health and Safety Executive has been informed.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) has confirmed that it received a 999 call at 19:12 on Tuesday, May 13, following reports of an incident on the Dundrum Road area, Armagh.
NIAS dispatched one emergency ambulance and a rapid response paramedic to the scene.
In a statement, the NIAS said that no one was taken from the scene.
The Health Service Executive Northern Ireland (HSENI) this week (Thursday, May 15) confirmed that there have been three deaths in the region since the beginning of the year.
