A fresh appeal has been launched by Lincolnshire police force to identify the driver of a tractor who was involved in a collision on the A1, near Foston.

The incident involving a tarctor, lorry, ambulance, and fire engine is understood to have occurred earlier this month (Monday August 11).

Police stated that they were called to the northbound carriageway at approximately 9:05p.m on the night in question.

When they arrived at the scene, they discovered that the lorry had been transporting a load of offal which had been shed on the road.

The officers also noted that there was hay bales covering the carriageway, which were believed to have been transported by the tractor.

Although pictures obtained from the CCTV footage acquired by the force are “not the best quality” police are appealing to anybody who may recognise the tractor or individual to get in touch.

“They are the only ones we have available to us, and we hope that someone may recognise the tractor or build and clothing of the driver,” police stated.

They have also appealed to anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed the collision or the moments before, as well as anybody who may have dashcam footage to get in touch.
