A top price of £10,000 has been achieved at the the Global Connections Online Sale, which took place during the UK Dairy Expo.

The sale, which ran from noon on Friday 13, to the evening of Monday 16 gave a chance for buyers to buy into elite cow families and genomic excellence.

Heifers in milk averaged £4,100 during the sale, while heifer calves averaged £5,667.

There was also a selection of embryos on offer at the Global Connections Sale, which sold for an average price of £614/embryo.

The top price of £10,000 was achieved for Cattlearch Mystique Scarlett, who appeared in lot one.

Cattlearch Mystique Scarlett is an April 2025-born daughter of Mystique Avenger and was described as ‘world-class’.

The heifer comes from the ‘legendary’ Glenirvine Unix Sally EX96, who has a list of awards behind her, including a recent first place victory for five year-old cow at the Royal Winter Fair in 2025, as well as third place for five year-old cow at the World Dairy Expo in 2025.

Unfortunately, Glenirvine Unix Sally EX96 passed away last month, which means it is likely the Global Connections Sale represented one of the final opportunities to secure a direct daughter outside of North America.

Annaghmore Holsteins of Northern Ireland, who co-own the current Diageo Baileys Irish Champion Dairy Cow, Annaghmore Fitz Atlee EX96 with Hallow Holsteins, ended up coming home with Cattlearch Mystique Scarlett.

Cattlearch Mystique Scarlett will be homed with multiple award winners on the Annaghmore farm, operated by the Richardson family.

Following her, the Annaghmore herd retook their selling postion, with Annaghmore Salutes Atlee selling for £7,200.

The October-2025 heifer is a granddaughter of Annaghmore Fitz Atlee EX96, which as stated is the reigning Grand Champion at both Baileys and Balmoral Shows in 2025.

Annaghmore Salutes Atlee is set to stay in Northern Ireland, with the Haffeys of Co. Armagh securing her for their Glasson herd.

Embryos made up to £950, with the top sellers out of Boghill Glamour Hurrican Carlin D EX94, who is the number one genomic total performance index Hurricane daughter globally, boasting a Profitable Lifetime Index (PLI) of +£695 and +989kg milk.
