Agriland Media Group is participating in a research study with University College Dublin (UCD) to analyse media consumption habits in agricultural media and we want to hear from you, farmers.

Student of the Masters in Agricultural Extension and Innovation at UCD, Cormac Farrelly is undertaking the research as part of a thesis project on the habits of those who consume agri-media, particularly online.

The UCD programme takes a place-based approach to rural change and rural futures, and addresses how agriculture can contribute to sustainable development.

It examines how farming and rural areas are changing, and how communities and government can address future challenges and opportunities. These issues are relevant in Ireland and internationally, in the Global South and Global North.

The short survey of 25 questions will only take about five minutes to complete and all answers or communication from respondents will be kept anonymous.

The aim of the study is to inform research and improve policy in this evolving and developing field and what better way to do that than ask those working in agriculture themselves.

Topics covered in the survey include social media, subscriptions, sources etc.
