Farm equipment worth £10,000 has been stolen from a rural area near Callington in east Cornwall, Devon and Cornwall Police have said.

It was first reported that the equipment had been stolen from the Beals Mill area in the early hours of Saturday morning (November 12).

The missing items include sheep handling equipment and steel gates.

It is thought that a large vehicle or van with a trailer would have been used to carry out the theft.

Police are investigating and are appealing for any possible witnesses to the crime.
