The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) is investigating the theft of a trailer and various power tools from a property in Newry, Co. Armagh.

According to the PSNI, the trailer and power tools were stolen from a property on the Tullynavall Road area in Cullyhanna.

The trailer which was taken from the property has been identified as an Ifor Williams trailer.

The theft is believed to have occurred sometime last weekend between 5:00pm on Saturday, February 14 and 11:00am on Sunday, February 15.

Along with the trailer, a selection of power tools, such as a portable welder, consaw and a chainsaw, were reportedly taken during the theft.

The PSNI has appealed to the public for any information related to the suspected theft.

Officers have asked individuals who may have noticed anything unusual in the area at the time of the theft to contact police by calling 101 and quoting the reference number, CC2026021600481.

In addition to this police are also appealing for anyone who may have dash cam footage that may help the investigation to come forward.

Separately, agricultural machinery and equipment are also believed to have been stolen in Newtownabbey, Co. Antrim.

PSNI reported that various agricultural items, such as a Polaris Sportsman 570 quad, were stolen from the vicinity of the Ballyearl Leisure Centre on the Doagh Road during the evening of Friday, January 2, 2026 around 8:00p.m.

As part of their enquiries, the PSNI has appealed for information regarding a “red-coloured panel van that may be of interest to the police investigation.”

According to the police, the van was seen in the Ballylinney Road area, north of Newtownabbey, between approximately 8:45p.m and 9:00p.m on the same evening as the theft.
