In an “investment in experienced sales personnel”, Kuhn has today (Monday, January 23) named Gordon Logan as its newest sales specialist.

Logan specialises in bedding and feeding equipment, as well as Kuhn’s range of hedge cutters, and will manage the areas of the northern England and Scotland.

Kuhn has said that Logan’s appointment maintains its expanded product sales-support function that has now been in existence for over a decade, and complements the ongoing investment that the company is also making in technical personnel.

Sian Pritchard, managing director of Kuhn UK, said: “We’re continually building on our commitment to deliver the very best sales support to our dealers and customers.

“Our investment in people mirrors our success in increasing sales and growing market share in priority product areas.

“Having skilled and dedicated people on the ground is an important part of building strong relationships with our dealer network and is becoming an important differentiator for the business.

“It’s a crucial factor in ensuring that we provide a more complete, efficient, and thorough service to our UK customers and, as a result, are able to push UK sales figures to new heights.”

Kuhn

The Kuhn Group specialises in the design and manufacture of tractor-drawn agricultural equipment and has over 5,000 people currently employed worldwide.

The machinery company recently voiced its commitment to improving and expanding its parts-support function by employing two new parts sales-specialists.

These are James Fox, who is covering the north and Sarah Govier, who is managing the south.

Fox was new to Kuhn, however Govier had been with the Kuhn Group for over twenty years, spending some of her career helping customers worldwide.

“I have worked for Kuhn in France, Australia, and the UK, which has given me the opportunity to understand the product range in a variety of farming systems,” Govier said.

“Parts are an important service sector for Kuhn, especially with the introduction and success of the MyKuhn platform that enables customers to price and order parts online.”

MyKuhn is an online platform that enables customers to source parts, access user manuals, read news and benefit from special offers such as finance deals.

“MyKuhn is a strong addition to Kuhn’s service and support offering and we have seen thousands of customers sign up to take advantage of the platform since it was launched in 2019,” Pritchard said.

“We are continually adding new information and features to the platform so that customers can find information on their machines quickly and easily and then order genuine parts for click and collect at their chosen dealer.

“Having readily available, genuine parts that customers can rely on is crucial to Kuhn’s support offering and having the right staff to manage and coordinate this is essential to both the business and our customers.

“Whilst Kuhn will always strive to offer new technology for farming, we are also dedicated to helping farmers maintain existing machines to achieve the best results.”
